Description

Collection of vintage Batman-themed toys features a variety of boxed and carded items produced by multiple manufacturers between 1974 and 1989. The lot includes a large Silverbat battery-operated figure mounted on a horse by Chuan Shin Toys (Taiwan), a retail display box by Presents containing approximately 24 small Batman PVC figures (1989), and an Azrak-Hamway International Batcycle (1974). Additionally, the collection contains several 1982 releases: a Batcopter with a pull-string launcher and three individual bendable figures by Len Hunter Trading Co., and a translucent blue Night Flash Sparkle Gun by Henry Gordy International. The toys are constructed from molded plastic, vinyl, and PVC. Manufacturing marks denote origins in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China. Primary storage container measures 15 inches by 11 inches.

Condition: Most items are in their original factory packaging. The packaging exhibits visible signs of age and shelf wear, including creasing, edge wear, and surface staining on card backs. Some plastic blisters show crushing or partial detachment from the cards. Battery-operated and mechanical features are untested.

Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Photos are considered part of the condition report. Complete condition information is available by request, please request no later than 24 hours prior to the auction. All lots are offered and sold "as is", and Willow Auctions will not provide refunds based on condition. Timepiece movements, lighting and electrics have not been tested, and art has not been examined out of the frame unless otherwise stated. We have our own in-house shipping program.  Please request in-house shipping, if needed.

Condition report:

The vehicle is in good vintage condition with a visible dent on the front right hood and minor surface scuffing. The lithography remains bright. The original box shows moderate wear, including creasing and softening at the corners. The battery-operated functions are untested. All original parts, including the antenna and figures, appear to be present.
