Description
This lot features a collection of three vintage action figures from the original Battlestar Galactica television series, manufactured by Mattel in 1978. The set includes the Imperious Leader (Model No. 2869), Commander Adama (Model No. 2868), and a Cylon Centurion (Model No. 2870), all part of Assortment No. 2874. These plastic figures are mounted on their original illustrated cardboard backer cards, which feature iconic space-themed graphics and character portraits. The reverse of each card provides a visual checklist of the series, including characters like Lt. Starbuck and the Daggit. Manufacturing marks indicate the items were made and printed in Hong Kong with a 1978 copyright by Universal City Studios, Inc. Each individual card measures approximately 9 by 6 inches.
Condition: All three figures are in their original, unopened blister pack packaging. The backer cards show signs of shelf wear and age, including corner rounding, edge rubbing, and light surface creasing. The plastic bubble for the Imperious Leader figure exhibits significant yellowing, a common occurrence with this specific production run. The bubbles for Commander Adama and the Cylon Centurion remain relatively clear with minor surface scuffing. The seals appear intact with no major lifting or cracks.

Condition report:
AFA 70 (EX+). Sub-grades: C70 B75 F80. Item is factory-sealed and complete. The cardback exhibits light shelf wear, corner softening, and a small surface tear at the upper right edge. The blister bubble shows minor age-related yellowing. Item is professionally preserved in a clear acrylic protective case.
