Description
This lot features six complete retail sets of Jim Henson’s Muppets Personality Pens, produced by Sunkisses Hawaii Ltd. as part of their Pen Party product line. Each set contains four character-themed writing instruments constructed from molded and painted PVC plastic. The featured characters include Fozzie Bear emerging from a box labeled Top Bananas, Miss Piggy in a formal white gown, Kermit the Frog with a megaphone standing atop a stack of film reels referencing The Muppet Movie, The Great Muppet Caper, and The Muppets Take Manhattan, and Animal seated at his drum kit. The pens are housed in their original marquee-style packaging, which features vibrant blue and yellow graphics, lightbulb-inspired borders, and character portraits of Miss Piggy and Kermit. The reverse of the packaging identifies the manufacturer as Sunkisses Hawaii Ltd. of Honolulu, Hawaii.
Condition: The sets are in their original, unopened retail packaging. The cardstock headers show minor signs of shelf wear, including slight creasing, corner softening, and some bowing to the cardboard. The clear plastic blisters remain firmly attached with no significant crushing, though light surface scuffing is present. The figures and pens appear to be in excellent, unused condition. Ink functionality is untested as the items remain sealed.
