Description
This lot features three identical 1/64 scale die-cast metal replicas of the Knight 2000, famously known as K.I.T.T. from the hit television series Knight Rider. Manufactured by The ERTL Company of Dyersville, Iowa, these models are officially licensed by Universal City Studios, Inc. and carry a 1982 copyright date. Each vehicle is constructed of black die-cast metal and is presented in its original factory-sealed blister packaging. The vibrant yellow and blue backing cards feature illustrated graphics of the vehicle and the character Michael Knight. The reverse of the packaging includes the ERTL logo, item number 1377, part number 1377-7HGH, and safety warnings in multiple languages including English, French, German, and Spanish. These replicas are a quintessential example of 1980s television-themed toy memorabilia. Each card measures approximately 7 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches.
Condition: All three items remain sealed in their original blister packaging. The die-cast cars appear to be in factory-fresh condition. The backing cards show minor signs of shelf wear and age, including light edge wear, minor creasing, and some surface scuffing on the plastic blisters. The packaging remains intact with no significant tears or punctures.
Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Photos are considered part of the condition report. Complete condition information is available by request, please request no later than 24 hours prior to the auction. All lots are offered and sold "as is", and Willow Auctions will not provide refunds based on condition. Timepiece movements, lighting and electrics have not been tested, and art has not been examined out of the frame unless otherwise stated. We have our own in-house shipping program. Please request in-house shipping, if needed.
