Description

This lot features two officially licensed vintage collectibles from the popular television series Knight Rider, depicting the high-tech Knight 2000 (K.I.T.T.). The first item is a 1/25 scale plastic model kit manufactured by MPC, copyright 1982 and 1983. The kit represents the modified Pontiac Firebird Trans Am and includes a promotional burst on the box for a 1984 Corvette giveaway. The second item is a 1/64 scale die-cast metal replica produced by The ERTL Company of Dyersville, Iowa, copyright 1982. This die-cast vehicle is presented on its original illustrated blister card, identified by item number 1377 and part number 1377-7HGH. Both pieces are officially licensed by Universal City Studios, Inc. The ERTL piece was manufactured in China. MPC box measures 9 x 6.25 inches; ERTL card width 3.5 inches.

Condition: The MPC model kit is housed in its original box which shows visible shelf wear, corner scuffs, and creases; however, the internal components appear complete and remain sealed in their original factory plastic packaging. The ERTL die-cast car is in its original unopened blister pack. The backing card exhibits minor edge wear and surface scuffing, and the clear plastic blister contains some visible internal dust and debris.

Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Photos are considered part of the condition report. Complete condition information is available by request, please request no later than 24 hours prior to the auction. All lots are offered and sold "as is", and Willow Auctions will not provide refunds based on condition. Timepiece movements, lighting and electrics have not been tested, and art has not been examined out of the frame unless otherwise stated. We have our own in-house shipping program.  Please request in-house shipping, if needed.
