Description

5 vintage Japanese science fiction and mecha-themed toys manufactured by Bandai. The collection includes a 1/100 scale Deluxe Gundam Mk-II Mobile Suit RX-178 (1985) from the Zeta Gundam series, an Ultra Hawk 1 DX Popynica (1989) and a DX Ultra Hawk 1 (1996) both from the Ultra Seven series, a Pulsar Pod from the Combatt Cross Series 7 (1994), and a small Ultraman Taro figure (1988). The items are constructed primarily of molded plastic and vinyl. Each piece is housed in its original retail cardboard packaging featuring vibrant Japanese and English graphics, with some including clear plastic viewing windows. Markings include the Bandai logo, series-specific branding, and manufacturing origins from Japan and China. This lot showcases the evolution of Bandai toy engineering across two decades of popular Japanese media franchises. Overall dimensions approximately 13 x 11 inches.
Condition: Items are in original packaging showing varying degrees of age-appropriate shelf wear. Notable wear includes edge scuffing, corner blunting, and surface abrasions to the cardboard. Some boxes retain original retail price tags of $85.00 and $115.00 or show residual adhesive from removed tags. The 1989 Ultra Hawk 1 box exhibits more pronounced wear along the top flap. Internal components appear largely undisturbed; however, completeness of non-windowed boxes has not been verified.
Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Photos are considered part of the condition report. Complete condition information is available by request, please request no later than 24 hours prior to the auction. All lots are offered and sold "as is", and Willow Auctions will not provide refunds based on condition. Timepiece movements, lighting and electrics have not been tested, and art has not been examined out of the frame unless otherwise stated. We have our own in-house shipping program.  Please request in-house shipping, if needed.
