Description
This lot features a collection of six vintage Japanese mecha action figures and model kits manufactured by Clover during the early 1980s. The assortment primarily focuses on the Aura Battler Dunbine series and includes four 1/58 scale Dana-O’shee SF Fantasy Figures, one 1/46 scale Dunbine SF Fantasy Figure, and one 1/100 scale Blitz Jetter from the System Mecha Collection No. 2 (Mission Outer Space Srungle). Each item is housed in its original illustrated cardboard box featuring vibrant series artwork, Clover branding, and official copyright marks for Sotsu Agency, Nippon Sunrise, and Kokusai Eigasha. Clover was the original lead sponsor for the Dunbine series, making these figures significant artifacts from the company’s final production year before its 1983 dissolution. The figures are constructed of molded plastic with potential die-cast metal elements characteristic of the period. Largest box measures approximately 9 1/2 inches by 7 inches.
Condition: The items are presented in their original vintage packaging which exhibits varying degrees of age-related shelf wear, including corner dings, edge rubbing, and minor surface creasing. A handwritten note on the 1/46 scale Dunbine box indicates that the figure is missing one missile accessory. The remaining items appear to be in good vintage condition within their respective boxes.
