Description
Vintage motorized tin toy figure of the character Astro Boy, also known as Tetsuwan Atom, produced by Osaka Tin Toy Institute as part of The Tin Age Collection. The figure is constructed from lithographed tin with a plastic head and features a battery compartment door on the chest. Not tested. The toy is housed in its original illustrated box marked Osaka Tin Toy Institute 1993. Box size 13″ H x 8″ W x 4.5″ D.
Condition report:
The toy and packaging are in very good condition. The lithographed surfaces and plastic head show minimal wear. The outer cardboard box exhibits minor shelf wear and light creasing. The toy has not been tested.
