Description
Japanese wind-up tin robot manufactured by the Osaka Tin Toy Institute, featuring the character Tetsujin 28-go, also known as Gigantor. The figure is constructed of lithographed tin with a blue metallic finish and accents in red, yellow, and silver. A fixed metal wind-up key is attached to the side of the torso. The reverse of the robot displays a circular logo printed with Osaka Tin Toy Institute and Made in Japan. This lot is accompanied by its original illustrated box, a cardboard interior support, and a Japanese-language paper insert. 8″ H x 5″ W x 3″ D.
Condition report:
The robot is in excellent condition, showing minimal signs of use. The lithographed surface remains bright. The original box is intact and exhibits light shelf wear.
