Description
Group of eight vintage Mego style 8-inch action figures c. 1970s. The group features a variety of characters from DC Comics, including Superman, Batman, Green Arrow, and The Penguin, as well as Marvel Comics characters Thor and The Lizard. Two additional figures are included wearing fabric jumpsuits, characteristic of the era’s adventure-themed toy lines. Each figure 8″ H.
Condition report:
The collection exhibits significant age-related wear and evidence of heavy play use. The fabric costumes show heavy staining, discoloration, and frayed edges, specifically on the capes. The chest emblems on the Superman and Thor figures are peeling. The lot is incomplete, with several missing accessories; notably, Batman is missing his cape, and various figures are missing footwear. One figure is missing a hand. A manila auction tag hand-inscribed with 8 pieces is included.
