Description
Collection of eight vintage 8-inch action figures produced in the style of the Mego World’s Greatest Super-Heroes line. The assembly features characters from both the DC and Marvel universes, including Batman, The Penguin, Green Arrow, The Riddler, Thor, Captain America, Shazam, and Superman. While no manufacturer marks are clearly legible in the current state, the scale, joint construction, and tailoring are characteristic of 1970s-era Mego Corporation production. Each figure stands approximately 8″ H.
Condition report:
The collection is in played-with condition and exhibits various signs of age and wear. General issues include fabric pilling, surface dust, and localized staining. Specific condition notes include a prominent dark stain on the chest of the Captain America figure and the trousers of the Green Arrow figure. The Superman figure exhibits a peeling chest emblem, and the Penguin figure has one detached shoe. Costumes show varying degrees of fraying and loose threads consistent with vintage fabric toys.
