Description
Vintage Corgi Toys No. 261 James Bond Aston Martin DB5 die-cast model car, produced by Playcraft in 1965. This iconic model, released in conjunction with the James Bond film Goldfinger, is finished in its distinctive gold paint with a red interior. The car features several functional “Special Agent” mechanisms, including an opening roof with a spring-loaded ejector seat, retractable front-mounted machine guns, and a rising rear bullet-proof screen. The model is presented on its original color-printed cardboard diorama inner display stand within the original outer box. Box size 5″ H x 2″ W.
Condition report:
The die-cast car is in very good condition, showing light surface wear and minor paint loss consistent with age. The mechanical features, including the ejector seat and machine guns, appear to be in working order. One white plastic passenger figure is included. The original cardboard packaging and inner display stand are present; the box exhibits moderate wear including creasing, corner rubbing, and minor edge tears.
