Description
Collection of eight vintage die-cast metal toy vehicles and models, primarily preserved in their original retail packaging. The group includes several Batman-themed items produced by ERTL for the 1989 film, including a Batmobile and Joker Van two-pack, a single carded Batmobile, and a Batman Wrist Racer. Other film-related pieces include a Corgi Toys James Bond 007 Ford Mustang from Diamonds Are Forever, an ERTL 1/64 scale The Cannonball Run Transcon Medi-Vac ambulance, and an LJN Smokey and the Bandit II motorized Rough Riders Bandit Firebird with wheelie action. The lot is completed by a Dinky Toys Armoured Command Car designed by Gerry Anderson and an ERTL Air & Space series Columbia Command Module with its original display stand. Largest cardbacks 9″ H x 6″ W.
Condition report:
The vehicles and models generally appear to be in good, unplayed-with condition. The original packaging shows varying degrees of age-appropriate shelf wear, including corner dings, creasing to the cardstock, and some yellowing of the plastic blisters. The Corgi Toys box window has a notable tear on the right side. The Dinky Toys Armoured Command Car is presented with its original box, which shows some crushing and wear.
