Description
Collection of 18 Corgi die-cast model vehicles produced by Corgi, Corgi Classics, and the Mettoy Co. in Great Britain. Highlights include four Corgi Toys Rocket Firing Batmobiles in original window boxes and a James Bond Aston Martin D.B.5. The collection also contains three Corgi Originals Chitty Chitty Bang Bang 25th Anniversary editions (1967-1992), each presented on a wooden display base with an accompanying certificate of authenticity. Additional boxed items include a Chipperfield Circus Advance Booking Vehicle and a Mack Goodyear Wingfoot Express from the Americana series. The lot is also comprised of several carded vehicles, including 1983 Pontiac Firebirds, a 1982 Houston Astros Baseball Collector Cars model, and multiple Auto-City series vehicles. A large 24 Adventures to Christmas advent calendar box (c. 1986) is included, along with a plastic insert tray containing approximately 24 loose die-cast vehicles, including Coca-Cola delivery trucks, service vans, and passenger cars. Condition report:
Condition ranges from new-in-box to fair. Carded items exhibit significant shelf wear, including crushed blisters, creasing, and torn carding. The advent calendar box shows edge wear and some structural crushing. Boxed Batmobiles and Bond vehicles appear largely complete with light to moderate wear to the outer packaging. The loose vehicles in the plastic tray show varying degrees of play wear. Originality of all internal components for the advent calendar is not guaranteed.
