Collection of 36 die-cast metal toy vehicles and commemorative sets primarily manufactured by Matchbox. The centerpiece of the collection includes two Matchbox Originals Limited Edition Five Pack sets. These sets feature authentic recreations of the earliest Lesney Moko vehicles, including the Aveling Barford Road Roller, Massey Harris Tractor, London Bus, Horse-Drawn Milk Float, and Dennis F2 Fire Engine. Also featured is a Corgi Classics GoldenEye James Bond 007 Aston Martin DB5 in its original window box. The lot contains two Matchbox Official Car and Driver Collector Cards blister packs featuring a yellow Lamborghini Countach and a yellow Corvette Convertible. Additionally, the collection includes a variety of individually boxed Matchbox vehicles from the Superfast and The Original Collectibles series. Notable individual models include a 1975 Dodge Challenger in red with a white roof, a Chevy Pro Stocker, and an Artic Truck. Manufacturers’ markings include Matchbox, Corgi, and Lesney Products, with several vintage models marked Made in England. The vehicles are constructed of die-cast metal with plastic interiors and rubber or plastic tires. Largest box 8.5″ H x 10.5″ W.
Condition report:
Most items remain in their original retail packaging. The packaging exhibits varying degrees of shelf wear, including corner blunting, minor creasing, and surface scuffing. The Artic Truck box shows significant crushing and a torn end flap. The Car and Driver blister cards show minor warping and original price sticker residue. The vehicles themselves appear to be in excellent, unplayed-with condition, though some individual boxes have been opened.
