Homer S. Trecartin (American, 20th Century). Oil on canvas, still life with red lamp. Signed and dated lower right Homer S. Trecartin ’52. Verso with exhibition tag from the American Artists Professional League for the 1952-3 Annual Exhibition held at the National Arts Club in New York City. 23 1/4″ x 19 1/4″ sight size, 30″ x 36″ with frame.
Condition report:
Minor surface dirt and light frame wear. There are small nicks and abrasions on the wooden frame. The canvas remains securely stretched and the labels on the reverse are intact though showing age-related toning.
