Description
Group of five assorted walking sticks, canes, and shepherd’s crooks featuring various natural wood and bamboo shanks. The assortment includes a long bamboo shepherd’s crook with a metal ferrule at the base and burned decorative geometric patterns on the shank; a wooden walking stick with a handle carved in the shape of a fish with pyrographic detailing; a walking stick with a forked antler handle; a wooden cane with a handle carved with a scroll and thistle motif; and a traditional bent wood shepherd’s crook. Largest item 72″ L.
Condition report:
The collection shows evidence of age-related wear, including surface scratches, minor dings, and rubbing to the finishes throughout. There are small splits and cracks to some of the wood and bamboo shanks consistent with natural aging and usage. Natural patination and scattered surface grime are present across the group.
