Description
Pair of African tribal Kota style reliquary guardian figures. Carved wood core wrapped in hammered copper and brass. Taller figure with partially detached finial. Taller figure 27 1/2″ H x 10 1/2″ W.
Condition report:
Both pieces exhibit a significant aged patina, surface oxidation, and wear consistent with age and use. The finial portion of the larger figure is broken but remains attached to the copper wire.
