Description
Group of three West African style carved wood figures including two standing figures and one seated maternity figure. All mounted on metal bases. Largest figure 35 1/2″ H x 8 1/4″ W x 8 1/4″ D.
Condition report:
The two standing figures show significant surface weathering, including deep wood checks, cracking, and loss to the surface finish throughout the heads and torsos. The seated maternity figure remains in overall stable condition with a more uniform patina, showing minor surface abrasions and accumulated dust. All pieces exhibit wear consistent with age and traditional handling.
