Description
Group of four West African style carved wood figures, attributed to the Baule or similar cultures of Cote d’Ivoire. Two tall standing figures (one male and one female), one seated female figure on a block pedestal, and one small carved bust. Largest 20″ H x 3 1/2″ W x 4″ D.
Condition report:
The figures show visible surface wear and dust accumulation. Notable vertical shrinkage cracks are present, particularly on the heads and bases of the larger figures.
