Description
19th century two piece pine Welsh dresser. Upper hutch section with three open plate shelves, each with a recessed plate groove. Hutch is supported by two side brackets that rest on the base. Lower sideboard section with three drawers over two cupboards. Interior cupboards are open without fixed shelving. Central drawer with illegible paper label. 85″ H x 75 1/2″ W x 18″ D.
Condition report:
There is significant wood loss on the left side of the sideboard top where the hutch bracket meets the surface. The vertical backboards of the hutch show separation and minor splits. Surface abrasions, old staining, and evidence of previous repairs are present throughout the piece.
