Description
Set of nine Mid-Century Modern bamboo folding chairs. Frames with mottled tortoise effect and polished finish. Backrests with curved top rail and vertical bamboo splats. Unfolded 33″ H x 17″ W x 22″ D ; Folded 39 1/2″ H ; Seat height 17″ H.
Condition report:
Visible wear includes scuffing, scratches, and significant areas of finish loss, particularly on the legs and seat frames. There are minor structural separations at the mitered corners of the seat frames and occasional splitting of the bamboo poles. The patina and intensity of the tortoise finish vary across the nine chairs.
