Description
Large Chinese ink and color wash painting on paper depicting a black eagle or raptor. Vertical column of calligraphy reading “pini wanshan, ” translating to “looking down upon the mountains.” 53 1/2 x 24 inches.
Condition report:
The painting exhibits some light spots to the paper ground. The frame shows significant damage, including structural cracks and material losses at the corners. The brown paper backing on the reverse is torn and partially detached.
