Description
Group of six silver and silver-plated tableware items from various American and Canadian makers. Includes one small sterling porringer marked Web Sterling on the underside; one tall silver-plated pierced basket marked Forbes Silver Co; one silver-plated footed lattice bowl also marked Forbes; one large silver-plated gallery tray; one silver-plated scalloped plate marked New Amsterdam Silver Co; and one pair of small silver-plated scalloped dishes. Largest piece (basket) 16″ H x 8 3/4″ W x 10″ D.
Condition report:
The sterling porringer is heavily tarnished but appears structurally sound. The silver-plated footed lattice bowl shows significant tarnish and visible wear to the plating on the interior. The large gallery tray exhibits surface scratching and minor plating wear. The remaining plated items show typical light surface scratching and varying levels of tarnish.
