Description
Group of four carved and polished stone and marble plates and platters. Includes a large round black stone charger; a shallow reddish-brown stone charger with a porous, travertine-like texture; a polished round black marble plate with gold-toned veining; and a yellow banded onyx cheese board. Largest dish 13″ diameter.
Condition report:
The pieces exhibit varying degrees of wear consistent with use. The solid black charger shows significant surface scratching and scuffs across the rim and basin. The reddish-brown stone dish displays natural pitting and light surface abrasions. The gold-veined black marble plate and yellow onyx slab exhibit light surface wear and minor edge abrasions. No major chips or structural cracks are observed.
