Description

Ceramic bowl and underplate by Masayama decorated in the Japanese Oribe style. Dark brown semi-matte glaze and translucent green glaze. Each piece marked on the underside. 4 1/4″ H x 7″ diameter.


Condition report:

A minute glaze skip or small surface flake is visible on the rim of the plate. Minor surface wear and rubbing are consistent with age and use. No significant chips, cracks, or repairs are observed.
