Description
Large Chinese porcelain jardiniere with wood stand decorated in the Famille Rose palette and Rose Medallion pattern. The interior of the bowl is also elaborately decorated with a central circular medallion featuring figures and birds, surrounded by a wide floral and geometric border at the rim. The base of the bowl features a four-character red-stamped seal mark reading Qianlong Nian Zhi. With stand 11 1/2″ H x 16 3/4″ diameter.
Condition report:
No cracks, chips, or structural repairs are visible to the ceramic body. Minor surface wear and small areas of enamel loss consistent with age and handling may be present. The wood stand shows light surface wear and minor scuffs.
