Retro Treasures: Vintage Toys, Action Figures, and Comics
Lot 153:
Sold for: $250
Description
Two vintage Japanese soft vinyl (sofubi) action figures from the Adventure Rockbat (Boken Rockbat) series, manufactured by Bullmark. The collection includes one larger figure cast in a distinctive translucent gold vinyl infused with glitter, featuring painted silver and green accents. The second figure is constructed from multi-colored opaque vinyl in red, yellow, and green with hand-painted facial details. Each item is preserved in its original clear plastic bag packaging, topped with an illustrated cardstock header featuring the Bullmark logo and the Japanese text for Bullmark’s Rockbat Series. Largest item 17" H x 7" W.
Condition report:
Both items are complete in their original factory packaging. The cardstock headers show typical age-related wear, including creasing, soft corners, and staple marks. The clear plastic bags exhibit wrinkling and light surface accumulation. Original vintage price markings of 250 and ¥350 are present on the headers. The vinyl figures appear to be in excellent, unplayed-with condition, having been protected by the original film since manufacture.
