Description
Three vintage Japanese soft vinyl (sofubi) action figures representing characters from 1970s mecha and superhero franchises. Includes a Minerva X figure from the Mazinger Z series with embossed Popy logo on the reverse of the head; an Ultraman Joneus from the 1979 animated series The Ultraman; and a robot character with a red and yellow torso. All three figures are constructed from molded vinyl with factory-applied painted details. Each figure 6″ H x 2″ W.
Condition report:
The figures are in used, vintage condition with wear consistent with age and play. All three pieces exhibit surface grime and accumulated dust. There is visible paint scuffing and loss on the decorated surfaces, particularly on the heads and extremities. The white-painted sections on the limbs show significant yellowing and discoloration. No structural breaks or repairs are evident. The figures are incomplete, lacking any original packaging or accessories.
