Group of 18 vintage digital watches, primarily dating from the 1980s and early 1990s. The group features six The Joker digital watches by Quintel (1989), two Rocky and Bullwinkle pop-up digital watches by Armitron (1992), and two Mighty Mouse watches by Bradley Time (1985), consisting of one calculator model and one standard LCD wrist watch. Also included are a boxed The Dukes of Hazzard LCD quartz watch with Dixie Melody alarm by Unisonic (1981), a Gremlins stick-on clock by Nelsonic (1984), a Michael Jordan Action Watch with a miniature sneaker keychain by Wilson, and a Major League Baseball Card Watch by Nelsonic featuring Darryl Strawberry. Completing the lot are an Archie Comics watch by Bobtron (1989), a Young Indiana Jones Chronicles watch by Armitron (1992), and two promotional chewing gum brand watches for Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit and Hubba Bubba. Most items are presented in their original retail blister packaging or cardboard display boxes. Largest item 10″ H x 4″ W.
Condition report:
Most items remain in their original retail packaging, which displays varying degrees of age-related shelf wear. Observable condition issues include yellowing and light cracking of the plastic blister covers, creasing, corner wear, and edge scuffing on the cardboard backings. Several pieces exhibit original price stickers or adhesive residue. The cardboard box for the Dukes of Hazzard watch shows visible crushing. The mechanical functionality of the digital movements and the state of the internal batteries are unverified.
