Description

United States military issued M1917 trench knife manufactured by Landers, Frary and Clark of New Britain, Connecticut. Triangular stiletto-style steel blade. Hilt constructed with contoured wooden grip. Top of crossguard stamped U.S., L.F. and C, 1917. 14″ L x 3 1/4″ W.


Condition report:

Dark patina and surface oxidation on the steel components. Wooden handle shows various nicks, scratches, and a small area of surface loss on the spine.
