Description
Custom lever-lock folding knife by Butch Vallotton designed in the Italian stiletto style with a spear-point blade and false top edge swedge. The mechanism is a traditional spine-side lever-lock with a circular pivot pin. Blade tang marked Butch Vallotton Red Hill OR. Reverse of blade engraved Italian Prototype #1. 13 1/4″ L.
Condition report:
Blade exhibits minor surface swirl scratches and handling marks consistent with light display and age. No evidence of significant sharpening wear. Stag scales are intact with a deep natural patina. Nickel silver bolsters show light surface scuffing and minor oxidation.
