Description
Bone letter opener with a tusk form handle joined to a long, flat blade by a Hilliard & Thomason sterling silver collar and mount. Sterling mount with several hallmarks including a lion passant and H&T. 15 1/2" L x 1 1/2" W.

Condition report:
The silver mount shows tarnishing throughout, and one section of the pierced silver decoration is bent and lifting away from the blade. The bone exhibits minor surface wear and natural discoloration consistent with age.
