Description
Group of three African wood carvings including an elongated Bobo plaque attributed to Burkina Faso. Also includes a Baoule mask from Cote d’Ivoire and a mask in the Fang style from Central Africa/Cameroon. Bobo plaque 47 1/2″ L x 10″ W x 7 1/2″ D. Baoule mask 15″ H x 8″ W x 6″ D.

Condition report:
All three items show signs of age-related wear. Observable issues include surface abrasions, minor wood loss at the edges, and thinning or loss to the pigmented finishes. The Baoule mask features a vertical crack at the base of the chin. The Fang style mask shows scattered losses to the white pigment. Adhesive labels are present on the exterior surfaces of all three pieces.
