Description
Etched fine-line portrait of a woman on an alpaca silver plaque. Stamped “alpagga” on reverse of the plaque. Illegible artist stamp lower left, incised /2500 lower right. Mounted on a blue velvet mat. 2 1/2″ x 1 3/4″ plaque, 7 1/4″ x 6 1/2″ with frame.

Condition report:
The silver plate shows light surface scratches and minor areas of oxidation consistent with age. The blue velvet matting is clean and well-preserved. The frame exhibits minor wear to the gilt and silvered finish, primarily at the corners. The paper backing on the reverse has been cut for inspection.
