Collection of nine character and commemorative watches featuring DC Comics superheroes, primarily Superman. Includes four 1993 Fossil limited edition Reign of the Supermen! watches, each featuring a silver-toned dial with four Superman shields, silver-tone base metal cases, and brown leather straps. These are accompanied by their original blue square presentation boxes, booklets, and collector’s coins embossed with Collector’s Watch 93 Fossil Limited Edition 19. Also present is a 1992 Death of Superman commemorative watch with a black dial and silver shield in a chrome-tone case on a black leather strap, including its original diamond-shaped packaging marked 1944 DC Comics and a commemorative pin marked 1938-1992. Also includes a 1993 Superman watch in a plastic telephone booth display with its original box, a 1977 DABS Super Hero watch featuring a yellow dial with a flying Superman in a gold-tone case on a navy blue strap, a 1976 Superman character watch with a white dial marked DC Comics Inc. 1976 on a stainless steel expansion band, and a Batman character watch with a yellow dial. Condition report:
Many watches appear unworn and remain in their original packaging. Fossil watch cases show minor tarnish consistent with age. Boxes and display cases exhibit light shelf wear and minor signs of handling. Movements are currently untested and will likely require new batteries or professional servicing.
