Description
Renaissance Revival carved hardwood pedestal stand, late 19th century. Stand with square top, rounded corners, and molded edges. Central column detailed with spiral-turned and fluted elements. Legs with carved floral medallions and terminating in turned bun feet. 35 1/2″ H x 13 1/2″ W x 13 3/4″ D.
Condition report:
The top surface shows wear including scuffs, scratches, and a circular water ring. There is visible cracking and separation in the wood joinery where the carved swags meet the corner scrolls. The base and feet show typical nicks and scuffs.
