Description
Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse (French, 1824-1887). Large-scale bronze figural tazza, After Harvest. Signed A. Carrier on the base. 36 1/2″ H x 12″ W x 12″ D.
Condition report:
The sculpture is in generally good condition with a consistent brown patina. Surface oxidation and accumulated dust are visible within the recessed areas of the casting. The interior of the top dish shows surface wear, staining, and green verdigris oxidation. There are minor scattered scuffs to the patina, primarily located along the edges of the octagonal base. No structural damage, cracks, or repairs were noted.
