Description
Hand-woven Navajo “Eye Dazzler” rug. Early 20th C in red, orange, brown, cream, and pink. Mounted and framed in a plexiglass display case. Rug 5 x 3 feet. Display case 65 1/4″ H x 47″ W.
Condition report:
The textile is in generally good condition with minor fraying and loose threads noted at the corners and along the edges. There is a small area of surface wear or a possible repair near the center of the weaving. The paper dust cover on the reverse of the frame is heavily torn with significant areas of loss.
