The mahogany frame shows general age-appropriate wear, including minor scuffs, finish loss along the edges of the lid and legs, and small chips to the wood. The interior fabric lining is in poor condition, exhibiting significant tears, fraying, snags, and discoloration. The gilt-metal mounts show natural tarnish and patina. All glass panels appear intact with minor surface scratches.
