Description
After Man Ray (American, 1890–1976). Group of four black and white lithograph exhibition posters of his photographic works. The set includes the images La Prière (1930), Solarisation (1931) published for the Les Photographes de France series, a 1981 exhibition poster for the Centre Georges Pompidou featuring Le Violon d’Ingres (1924), and a poster titled Man Ray Photographe. Each print features printed margins with copyright information for Man Ray and the publisher Flammarion 4, Paris, along with copyright dates of 1981 and 1983. Condition report:
The posters are in good condition overall with signs of handling wear. Notable horizontal creasing is present along the top edge of the La Prière poster. Minor edge wear and light creasing to the corners are visible across the collection. The sheets are unframed and stored rolled.
