Description
This Arts and Crafts style table lamp was manufactured by Edward Miller and Company of Meriden, Connecticut. The lamp is constructed from hammered and wrought iron with a dark patinated finish. The design features a square box-form base with a twisted ring handle and four splayed feet. Two vertical uprights with twisted detailing and hook finials support a four-sided pyramidal shade by metal chains. The shade contains four inset slag glass panels within a textured metal frame. The glass panels exhibit a marbleized pattern of vibrant red and green hues. The internal fount assembly features a knurled brass cap marked Miller. This lot is located offsite in Rumson, New Jersey and will be available for PICKUP ONLY. Condition report:
The lamp is in good vintage condition with a significant accumulation of surface dust and grime throughout. The metal finish shows minor oxidation and wear consistent with age. The slag glass panels appear intact with no visible chips or cracks. Tested and working.
