Description
A pair of traditional overstuffed armchairs featuring a high back, deep seat, and prominent scrolled arms. The chairs are fully upholstered in a heavy-weight chenille or jacquard fabric featuring an all-over Tree of Life or Mughal-inspired floral and foliate vine pattern. The design is rendered in shades of red, orange, and pale green on a dark navy or black ground. The seams and edges are finished with a coordinating red and gold twisted cord piping. The chairs are constructed with fully upholstered block feet, each fitted with a white circular plastic floor glide. The underside is finished with a black fabric dust cover and shows modern stapled construction. A handwritten paper tag is attached to one chair. 37.5 inches H x 33 inches W x 42 inches D. This lot is located offsite in Rumson, New Jersey and will be available for PICKUP ONLY. Specific pickup instructions including the address and available pickup dates and times will be provided shortly after the auction.
Condition report:
The chairs are in excellent condition with no visible signs of wear, fading, staining, or tearing to the upholstery. The twisted cord piping is intact throughout. The undersides are clean with the dust covers securely attached.
