Description
A set of five professional grade swivel arm barstools manufactured by Guy Chaddock and Co. The stools are designed in a Country English style featuring a medium distressed finish on pearwood frames. Each chair has a curved open back with a central padded panel and a rounded swivel seat both upholstered in russet colored leather. The upholstery is finished with a border of antiqued brass nailhead trim. The chairs feature curved arms and are supported by four tapered legs with a circular integrated footrest. The wood displays intentional manufacturer distressing including simulated wormholes and nicks to provide an aged appearance. The underside of the seat bases contains a primary manufacturer label reading GUY CHADDOCK and CO. along with a product information label identifying the item as CE1941B with finish GC0B1 and description CNTRY ENG BARSTOOL W/SWIVEL. Overall: 44 in. H x 21.5 in. W x 20 in. D. Seat Height: 29 in. Arm Height: 39 in. This lot is located offsite in Rumson, New Jersey and will be available for PICKUP ONLY. Condition report:
The set is in overall very good to excellent condition. The leather upholstery is well maintained with no visible tears heavy staining or significant cracking. The pearwood frames are sturdy and the swivel mechanisms operate smoothly. The visible nicks dark spotting and wormholes throughout the wood frames are part of the manufacturer intentional medium distress finish. Minor surface wear consistent with light residential use may be present.
