Description
Rose Tarlow Melrose House upholstered armchair. The piece features a high, flared back and rolled arms, with the base finished in a full-length kick-pleated skirt. It is upholstered in a heavyweight woven tapestry fabric with a repeating botanical motif including pomegranates, stylized flowers, and scrolling foliage. The color palette consists of forest green, burnt orange, and ochre on a dark navy ground. All seams and edges are finished with a coordinating twisted cord trim. A copper-toned metal manufacturer’s plate is attached to the underside of the frame and is inscribed ROSE TARLOW MELROSE HOUSE LOS ANGELES, CA. 38″ H x 32″ W x 30″ D. Seat height 16 inches. This lot is located offsite in Rumson, New Jersey and will be available for PICKUP ONLY. Condition report:
Very good condition. The upholstery shows no visible signs of significant fading, tearing, or staining. The twisted cord trim is intact along all edges. The metal manufacturer\'s plate on the underside shows minor surface scratches and is slightly misshapen at the nail points.
