Description
A vintage Queen Anne style demilune console table featuring a serpentine-front top with book-matched mahogany veneers. The base consists of a deeply scalloped apron supported by four cabriole legs, each terminating in a rounded pad foot. The construction includes a mix of solid wood and veneers with a dark mahogany-toned finish. No maker marks are visible on the piece. 34 H x 53 W x 22 D inches. Condition report:
The table is in fair condition with significant signs of wear and age. Notable defects include substantial finish loss and abrasions along the front molded edge of the top, exposing bare wood. The scalloped apron exhibits scuffs, chips, and areas of missing finish. The top surface shows multiple scratches and finish wear. All four legs have abrasions, scuffs, and small dings, particularly near the feet. The piece shows general surface grime consistent with age and use.
