Description
This Neoclassical style accent table is constructed of mahogany-finished wood featuring burl wood and dark wood stringing veneers. The top is designed with a bowed front edge and a central veneered panel bordered by dark wood stringing and a wide burl wood veneer perimeter. The table sits on four tapered, square-section legs with vertical fluted details and inlaid dark wood diamond motifs at the leg heads. An open lower shelf with coved corners joins the legs, which terminate in turned feet fitted with brass-tone metal ferrules. The apron contains a single central drawer featuring decorative line inlay and a round brass-tone pull. 27.5″ H x 25″ W x 24.5″ D.
Condition report:
The table is in good structural condition but shows moderate surface wear consistent with age and use. The top surface exhibits numerous scratches, fine scuffs, and several deeper abrasions in the veneer. Minor nicks and small areas of finish loss are present along the leading edges and the drawer front. The fluted legs show minor scuffing and small impacts. The brass-tone hardware shows a light patina but remains intact and functional.
