Description
Seven-piece teak wood patio dining suite in the contemporary style. The round dining table features a wide circular teak frame with a beveled outer edge surrounding a recessed circular stone insert, possibly limestone or travertine. It is supported by four square tapered legs. Six matching Giati armchairs feature four vertical slats on the backrests, gently curved armrests, and square tapered legs. The chairs are accompanied by fitted seat and back cushions. Each chair is marked Giati on the underside of the frame. The table is unmarked. Table: 29 1/4″ H x 63 5/8″ diameter. Chairs: 33 1/2″ H x 22 1/2″ W x 22″ D. This lot is located offsite in Rumson, New Jersey and will be available for PICKUP ONLY in Rumson. Condition report:
Weathered throughout with a silver-grey patina to the teak wood. Visible green algae and moss growth are present on the lower portions of the table and chair legs. Black mildew spots and environmental spotting appear on the wooden table rim and seat slats. Small cracks and weathering checks are present, typical for the material and outdoor exposure. The upholstered cushions show light staining and surface dirt. Minor surface discoloration and environmental buildup are present on the stone top.
