Description
This set of two mid-century floral-themed table lamps features gilt-finished metal construction and natural stone bases. The taller lamp is designed with a central stem decorated with applied metal rosebuds and serrated leaves, mounted on a square black marble base with white and ochre veining. It includes a rectangular multi-paneled shade featuring a translucent textured material framed by black fabric borders. The smaller boudoir lamp is constructed with a circular green onyx base and features a metal cluster of roses and daisies at the foot of a curved arm. This arm supports a candle-style socket and a cream-colored bell-shaped shade. Both lamps are fitted with modern plastic-insulated two-prong cords and are confirmed to be in working condition. Larger lamp: 24″ H x 10″ W x 10″ D.

Condition report:
Both lamps exhibit wear consistent with age and use. The gilt-finished metal surfaces show oxidation, tarnish, and wear to the finish throughout. The taller lamp has a distinct area of greenish corrosion at the joint between the metal stem and the marble base. The stone bases show minor surface scuffing and dust accumulation. The larger shade shows wear to the black fabric trim, and the smaller shade shows general discoloration and mottling. Both are tested and working.
