Description
This abstract mixed media work on paper by Christopher Macsisak features a bold, gestural central motif resembling a double cross or the Roman numeral XI, executed in black charcoal or grease pencil. The central figure is set against a textured, painterly background composed of layered pale blue and white pigments, with small accents of orange-red along the lower margin. The work is created on heavy-weight white art paper with a visible deckled bottom edge. The piece is signed Macsisak in the lower-left corner. It is housed in a slim gold-toned metallic frame behind glass with a wide white mat.
